Service Description

We all have needs and feelings and they are often triggered from differences in view point in our different relationships we carry. It is very healthy to go through our experiences and face conflicts. The issue is not whether to be in conflict or not. The question is how we manage resolution with the intention to gain peace and happiness. Like any relationships, the connection you create with agencies, families and the children is one of the pillars in becoming a proficient communicator, even so, English as your second language. Obtaining the additional skills necessary to deepen your knowledge will help advance in your career, access incredible experiences, gain recognition and raise your level of income. Besides loving children genuinely and having the techniques to care for them with the complexity of time and task management, holding positive communication skills in assertiveness and conflict-resolution represent 90% of the professional caregiver’s asset. In this second module, we will explore the introspective work behind conflicts and learn a life-changing methodology of resolution, that we all wish to master even more so that caregiving can be highly demanding and put a toll on the stress level and our capacity to “being” with others. This module offers: - methodology and understanding to separate one self from the triggers - identify the needs and clarify feelings - and move on to resolution At the end of the module, participants will be able to: - distinct between healthy and non-healthy responses to conflict - acknowledge feelings - clarify needs - make conflict resolution a priority, rather “being right” - and moving on to higher grounds - leave the module with a takeaway toolkit to further practice at your own time A 4-hour module with a class content presentation, interactive exchange with peer professionals, group-practice time, a take-away toolkit for self-exploration and receive a certificate of completion. $85 after 12/04 _____________ Fees are not refunded.
